Founding Partner

Chetan founded AUM Ventures with a vision of supporting the Indian entrepreneurship ecosystem and build India’s reputation as a formidable venture capital destination. His previous experience includes building an alternate investment portfolio of venture/startups for a large single family office. He created a global deal sourcing network, fund of fund program and led investments in 60+ startups across India (Smiles.ai, LenDenClub, ChargeZone, Waterfield advisors, Sharechat, Sourcewiz, Rapidbox, Cogos, etc), Israel (eToro, Immunai, Antidote, H2Pro, Arbe robotics, Binah.ai, Goarc, etc), GCC (Verofax, Altibbi) and the US (SpaceX, Rho banking, Shef, Capsule, Daily Harvest, etc).

Chetan has also been an angel investor himself with investments in 40+ startups and advising / mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs on financial efficiencies, GTM strategy, fundraising, etc.

Chetan also has two decades of advisory and consulting experience where he advised MNCs on restructuring of cross-border operations, M&As, IPO planning as well as providing strategic approach to complex issues.

General Partner

Nisha oversees venture partnerships, fundraising, portfolio support (including portfolio fundraises), and overall fund-related initiatives at AumVC, while also driving the firm’s investments. Prior to Aum Ventures, Nisha’s career spanned more than two decades across investing, family offices, and consulting firms.

Over her 17-year consulting journey, she has advised global funds such as Blackstone, Sequoia, Bain, Kotak, Edelweiss etc and worked on several strategic global transactions (including, Thomson Reuters – Refinitiv), from diligence to negotiations to driving closures. She has also been on teams advising Reliance Jio, Disney etc at the time of their business launches. Nisha was also a part of the core team that built and led the family office advisory vertical at KPMG.

Nisha was a key member of the leadership team at NSFO, where she led strategy and also served as its COO. She was also a part of the leadership team at Wami Capital.

Darshini is a finance professional with 15+ years of experience. She has a wide variety of experience in portfolio management, finance and business outsourcing

- Deep insight into India’s defence indigenization and global aerospace supply chains.

- Board Member in 13 US listed companies; advises on governance and part of audit committees.
